Whether you’re a seasoned tourist or a first-time flyer, breezing through or looking for assistance, both terminals of the MSP airport are designed to make you feel happy and safe—from covered parking to top-tier dining and shopping. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several airlines have altered their schedules. Please check your flight status with your airline.

Terminal 1


At Terminal 1, you’ll find the airlines below.

Terminal 1
has many public transportation options if you’re not coming here by car. If you are traveling by car, here are driving directions.

Lots of covered parking.
We have loads of covered parking ramps for you to choose from. Some are better for picking up and dropping off, and others are great if you’re leaving your car longer. Check out your options for pricing and convenience best suited to your needs.

Once you’ve arrived, you’ll need to check in.
Terminal 1 has check-in and bag check services in the Ticketing Lobby, located on Level 2 off the upper roadway, one level above Baggage Claim.

Then, go through security.
At least one of the two security checkpoints is always open on the Ticketing Level. 

The skyway security checkpoint (#10) located on the Skyway Level on the Concourse C-G connector bridge is open Monday-Friday from 7:15 a.m. to noon. Also, an automated exit is available at the skyway location 24/7.

The checkpoint that served the InterContinental Hotel MSP Airport is closed for the foreseeable future as of April 1, 2020. A hotel shuttle will bring guests to the terminal; inquire at the front desk.

 

Terminal 2


At Terminal 2, you’ll find the following airlines:

We have two covered parking ramps for you to choose from. Short-Term is designated for stays of a few hours, and General is great if you’re leaving your car for a day or more. Check out your options.

Once you’ve arrived, you’ll need to check in
At Terminal 2, you can purchase a ticket, obtain a boarding pass and check your luggage in the building’s Ticketing Lobby, located on Level 1. Some airlines also offer curbside check-in services in front of the terminal. Contact your airline for hours or more information.

Then, go through security
At Terminal 2, security checkpoints are located on Level 2; one is located near the Orange Parking Ramp skyway and another near the Purple Ramp skyway. At least one of the two checkpoints will be open between 3:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Both checkpoints are closed between 10 p.m. and 3:30 a.m.

Finally, have some fun.
Make sure you arrive early enough to relax for a bit before your flight. Terminal 2 has great options for dining or shopping.
